Having to explain why you wish to no longer be a Criminal Justice major. - The short answer is that the mentally ill are not allowed to be police. (Which is total bullshit, btw. I’d make a better, less-corrupt officer than most of the “sane” people I know.)
Having to explain that you’re mentally ill and that it really is that big of an issue.- The RPD psychological exam is pretty thorough, I’m sure it’ll pick up on schizophrenia and suicidal tendencies.
Having everyone you talk to ask “Are you in counseling or on medication?”- And having to lie because it’s better than going into a rant about how there is no way in hell you’re doing either one because counseling is pretty damn useless and to get the proper dosage of meds, you have to tell your doctor the truth and if you do that they lock you away for a very long time and you never see your pony again.
And that, kids, is why being a crazy person sucks, besides the obvious effects of being crazy.
The end.
